Learn from Your Mistakes!!!

Ok if you die three times in a row from doing the same thing over and over again, obviously something isn't working! Observe where the enemy is! Stop walking into their ambushes! Just chill!

Weapon Focus: Mosin-Nagant

Ahhh my favorite gun to use the Mosin-Nagant. The best of the Bolt Actions right here. Its the strongest bolt action and always a one hit kill unless the enemy is using Juggernaut, but in that case either aim for the head or shoot twice. Here's how to use one:

1:As I said its a one hit kill so take your time lining up for a good shot.
2: Use it without a scope. Its not worth it.
3: If you are in face to face combat, then use a pop n' shoot technique.
4: Do not use in close combat! Use your hangun!
5: Use Stopping Power! You'll need it!
6: Toss Back is useful because if you are in a sniping post, then you'll be seeing quite a few grenades.
7: Only shoot when you have a good shot.
8: Bouncing Bettys come in handy to block entries for posts. Just stay away from them after you plant them.

Get out there, have fun, and watch out for that grenade!

Makin and Makin Day!!!

Class in session...

Two fun courses to be in with alot of sniper posts to be filled and alot of conflict. Sounds like utter chaos right? Well it is!





1:As I said, there are alot of sniper posts here as marked in red. Its tough to snipe here though because snipers often snipe each other here.


2:Use a sub machine, LMG, rifle, or bolt action rifle, no shotgun and I generally don't recommend HMGs.


3: Alot of conflict here. Just don't run in the middle of it. But there is one exception.

4: Alot of that conflict happens on the bridges. This is pretty much the only spot in CoD 5 that I would recommend being in the middle of it. There is a stack of boxes on the bridge toward the round house. Use these as cover.


5: Use grenades often, especially when clearing out snipers.


6: There is alot of water here, when dogs are called, go in the water as the dogs in this game cannot swim! Its much easier in the Makin night course.


7: Be careful in the round house. There are 3 points of entry all at different angles so enemies can easily get you in the back!


8: Stay. Away. From. The. Open. Areas. Let me repeat that. Stay. Away. From. The. Open. Areas. Sniper spots and people in open areas don't mix well. YOU WILL be sniped. If you aren't I'll come and find you.


9: If you aren't shooting a bolt action, shoot something that shoots fast. Your reflexes are a big part in these maps.


10: As I said, your reflexes are a big part here. You will see people in the dark that will scare the living daylight out of you on the night course.

Red= Sniper Post

Orange= Are of general conflict

Yellow= Be agoraphobic here =)

So now go out there, have fun, and become agoraphobic.

General Tips for Playing

1: Always know where cover is.
2: Always know where any snipers may be.
3: Stay away from wide open areas.
4: Watch for Bouncing Bettys in common walkways and stairwells.
5: Reload often.
6: Never listen to music while playing--TRUST ME I've tried it doesn't work
7: Move away from grenades unless you have the toss back perk, then throw 'em back!
8: Always play with the volume on, you need to be able to hear what's around you.
9: Be aware of things that are around you; exploding barrels, enemies, etc.
10: Stay with a group as much as possible.
11: I recommend using a headset to communicate with your team.
12: Don't use a broken controller--but that's probably just me...

How to Get Killed Fast!

Use a knife!

Heavy Machine Guns! (UGH!)

A few things to these massive and useless slabs of metal

1:Point and shoot pretty simple...
2: It disturbs me why people use these, they're just bad versions of submachine guns yeah they're big and intimidating but its not worth it
3: If you're actually still up for using these, use 'em on any map. Just go for it.
4: They'll work at any distance.
5: You won't catch me dead with one.

HMGs.....FORGET IT!!!!!!!!!!!! UGH!!!!!!

Have You Ever Wondered?

Do you seem to die immediately after every spawn? Do you go on humungous death streaks? Can you never find the enemy but he always seems to find you? If this sounds like you then you need to chill.... Stop chasing after the enemy. Thats what he wants you to do. Just relax.... and maybe your head won't be sniped off every two seconds!

The moral of today's story: chill man!

SHOTGUNS!!! FUN!!!

Ok these guns can be annoying to use as it seems like they can't hit the enemy at point blank range, but if you learn how to use these, they get pretty fun. Tips:

1: Use Stopping Power for the guaranteed kill.
2: Only shoot when you are very close to the enemy, but cannot use your knife on them.
3: Double Barreled is my favorite over the Trench Gun, but the Trench Gun is easier to shoot for those who are newer to the game.
4: If you use the Trench Gun, use Double Tap to shoot much faster.
5: When using shotguns, you will die. Alot. Don't get frustrated and keep trying.
6: There are few maps to use these on. I recommend using them in Asylum, Sub Pens, Station and Corrosion.
7: Never use these in Airfield, Downfall, Cliffside, or Banzai. It just doesn't work.
8: Grips are good to have on them, but you have to cough up a perk. But still put the grip on!
9: The Bayonet is useless for the Trenchgun. If you use a bayonet, then why are you using a Trenchgun? Its just not logical....
10: I recommend the Sawed Off Double Barrel. Its easier. Just listen to me.

So get out there, use a shotgun and don't die too much!

Map lesson #1: Airfield

First map lesson here it goes:

1: Use either a bolt action rifle, rifle, or submachine gun.

2: NO SHOTGUNS HERE!

3: Watch your head.

4: There is a few convenient sniper posts here as shown on the map.

5: Stay away from the middle of the map where the trucks are. Your head WILL be sniped off.

6: Did I mention watching your head?

7: There are many small conflicts here as shown on the map.

8: On the spot marked in green on the map, there is an explosive barrel. Shoot this to blow up a string of trucks and all passers will be exterminated.

9: Have fun!

How to Use a Submachine Gun

I used these alot when I was new. The thompson was my favorite, but now I prefer the PPSH. Shooting one of these is quite simple. Here's a few rules on what to do and what not to do:
1: Never ever ever ever try sniping with one...trust me i learned the hard way.
2: These are meant to run and gun with....so run!
3: Only shoot when you are pretty close to the enemy.
4: Hide behind cover enough where you can see the enemy, but you are not exposed when in face to face combat.
5: Two perks to use: Sleight of hand or stopping power. Only use sleight of hand when you are using a gun like the Thompson or PPSH without an extended clip.

There's lesson numero dos! Have fun and ugghhhh stay in cover....

First Things First!

People who comment about how they use Juggernaut and MP40 need to stop!!!! Stop making me angry! Stop making other people angry! Just. Stop. But anyway... I prefer to use a Mosin-Nagant with a rifle grenade. Its my weapon of choice. I like to use a PPSH also. Shotguns are fun to use. Machine guns.....not so much. I'm really good with the free maps and I just bought Map packs 1+2 with that half price deal, but when I got back from the Halloween party to buy the third one, the offer was over. Sucks... Yes I use a bolt action rifle. No, I am not one of those snipers that sit there and wait for hours on end. I like to have fun with it. I sneak up behind those snipers and there you have it an easy kill just like that. When you use a bolt action with no scope, you need to chill... don't rush in after the enemy and don't sit there and wait for the enemy. You need to stalk the enemy get behind him and fire. Face to face combat with a bolt action is pretty easy. Use and pop and shoot techique and you'll be rackin' up the kills left and right. There's your first lesson. And as I said.....WATCH YOUR HEAD!!!
